At Koko, our mission is to ensure the very highest purity and the very best coconut oil taste. We do this by tracking the process from tree to table.
Koko organic coconuts are hand-picked at the peak of ripeness by indigenous Filipino farmers.
The coconuts are transported to a state-of-the-art processing plant. The coconut orchards surround the plant, so the trip is short.
The coconuts are inspected as they travel along a sorting belt. Sub-standard nuts are discarded.
Shells are removed. The white coconut meat is separated, rinsed, crushed, and cold pressed to produce coconut milk.
The milk is sent through a series of high-speed, increasingly fine centrifuges. The centrifuges don’t use heat, chemicals, or fermentation as they remove all remaining water, solids, proteins and impurities. The result?
